Abstract
Fish/non fish is found not only as the best of protein source of food but also as the most valuable food since long time ago. For the next two decade, it is predicted that the need of fish/non fish will be double due to the increase of the world growth population. Without doubt, aquacultur will become the industry that we rely on. lndonesia has known as the country which has very rich in natural resources and has the longest coastal line after Canada; this is means that lndonesia has many strategic places to develop the aquaculture bussiness. One of these places is the Province of North Molluca, espesially the islands of Tidore City which is found very strategic on the pacific region.
This research was done on July-November, 2007; and was proofed that the islands of Tidore City has best several locations to develop the mariculture bussiness. The physic-chemist parameters which are very important for this bussines found to be supportive. On the other hand, to manage the bussiness in the long scale, we found there are several obstacles, one of them is financial.
