Abstract
Dry land crop water requirment can be current using Potential Evapotranspiration (ETP) ETP value depends on the area it self, recently, the dry land crop water requirment was determine by the plant species and fenology that have different biophysic characteristic to the water dynamics that in climatology was known as crop coefficient (Kc) toward potential evapotranspiration,
The aims of the research was to found the evapotranspiration estimation method that was switable and to found the crop water requirment for corn in low land (Kayuwatu) and high land (Tondano), The result was expected will be increase the knougled in managing the corn plantation with the result have good yield,
The total crop water requirment of low land corn was 381.25 mm and high land (Tondano) 346,36 mm. The biggest water requirment in growth period in 50-70 days or 50-70 %, Crop water requirment per growth period in high land area (Tondano) was smaller than in low land area (Kayuwatu).
