Abstract

The aim of this study was to obtain the graph model between the wave height at the break-point and longshore current velocity. The graph model was presented according to wave approach angle and beach slope. The research concluded that the longshore current velocity at Buyat Bay will increase about 0,9 m/sec if the wave height at the break-point increase about 0,1. This condition was frequently found when the attact angle of wave was of 10o and the beach slope of 5%.
