Abstract
Life table was a part of life history that consists of important information about the living organism to be used for predicting population growth. The aims of this reseach are to develop a life table of S. zeamais on rice. Developping of life table base on was to know the mortality, life expectancy, and the development ability of S. zeamais. Results showed that mortality index of eggs was 0,37 larvae was 0,48, and pupae was 0,29, and adult was 1,0. Life expectancy index of eggs was 1.80, a larva was 1.57, a pupa was 1.46 pupae, and an adult was 1.0. One female has the ability to give rise 55.41 females or 97.67 males and females of the next generation.
