consisting of morphological and behavioral traits. Morphological characteristics include the size. shape
and color of the body, as well as variations in the body's organs. Behavior include the feeding behavior,
mating behavior, and egg laying behavior. Observational research using descriptive methods. The
results showed that the morphology outside S. orp.ae and S. zeamais differenL namely S. zeamais
greater S. oryzae . Imago body size S. oryzae when out of the pupa± 2.16 mm, the full development of
± 3.36 mm, and S. zeamais when out of the pupa± 2.54 mm, ± 4.78 at fuH development. Imago S.
oryzae bright black or brownish black, has four round spot elongated (oval) on the elytra are reddish
brown and reddish brown legs, while the imago S. zeamais solid black/dark colored -Mth four spots on
the elytra yellowish brown and yellowish brown leds. Feet behavioral observations showed that the
imago eating seed grainby punching holes in rice and maize by using rostrum. Imago makes two types
