ANALISIS KONSUMSI PANGAN PRODUK PETERNAKAN RUMAHTANGGA PESISIR PANTAI DI KABUPATEN MINAHASA SELATAN.

Abstract
Households of coastal communities dominated by the poor. The poor are indicated by a low level of income. The problem is how far the level of income affects consumption of livestock products. The purpose of this study was to determine the food consumption of livestock products and the effect of income on food consumption of livestock products. The research method that has been used is the survey method. Subdistricts and villages as the sample was determined by purposive sampling which is located on the coast. Respondents in each village has been determined by using simple random sampling. The number of respondents were 100 households. The results showed that the average income of household of Rp 3123700 per month per household. Households consume eggs and chicken meat, respectively 100 percent and pork as much as 72 percent of respondents there. Regression analysis showed that household income partially affect the consumption of eggs, chicken, and pork. In conclusion household income of coastal communities affect the amount of consumption of eggs, meat of chicken and pork. Suggestions, need government intervention for the development of livestock in South Minahasa. Keywords : consumption, eggs, chicken, pork, income
