Abstract
The objective of this research was to know the effects of soil moisture on germination of soybean seeds. This research was conducted in the Laboratory of Agronomy Division Agriculture Faculty, Sam Ratulangi University . Completely randomized design with four treatments and six replication was used in this research. The result showed that soil moisture influenced soybean seeds germinating. On 30% of soil moisture gave a very high of germinated seeds percentage, and the relation Between soybean viability with soil moisture follows a quadratic curve.
