Abstract
The activity of survey and soil mapping were carried out for to obtain the data and information of land resources characteristics will be need for to determaine the land suitability class will be use to repair and planning the development of corn plant at the district Poigar and Bolaang . The objective of this research was as inventarisation, identivication, the evaluation of land resources potential and a directive the land suitability for the development of corn plant on the soil mapping result is on a semi-detail scale 1 : 50.000. The result was showed the ordo soil two that are inceptisols and Entisols. The soil ordo Inceptisols was induced the sub ordo Aquepts (Aluvial) and Tropepts (Latosol). The soil ordo Entisols was induced the sub ordo Aquents (Regosol) and Psamments (Regosol). The actual land suitability class for the development of corn plant was induced the moderately suitable land (S2) 2.304,92 Ha amd marginally suitable land (S3) 2.362,02 Ha.
