Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of paddy sawah technology implementation and factors associat-ed with its application. The research method is a case study. Primary data obtained by conducting inter-views in 80 respondents rice farmers, and secondary data obtained from the Extension Office in District of Kakas. Data were analyzed using chi-square analysis. The results showed that 38.75% of respondents are at a high level of technology implementation cate-gory while 61.25% were in the low category of application. Factors of the land size and participation in agricultural extension significantly associated with the application of paddy rice farming technology, while the factors age, education level, tenure status and income had no effect on the implementation level of paddy sawah farming technology.
