Abstract

The basic measure of the outputarising from economic activityis known as gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). GRDP is one of the yardstick to know the condition of prosperity storey;level and economics an area that seeing at Constant Market Price and also at Current Market Price. Manpower is capital to its motion of development wheel. Total number and the composition of manpower will change parallel with demographic process. This paper explain how agricultural sector role in absorbtion of manpower in Sub-Province Minahasa. Used by concept measurement of variable is GDRP and total number of manpower amount 2003 - 2007 at Constant Market Price which stem from North Sulawesi Statistics and Minahasa Statistics. Data analysis is contribution, Location Quotient (LQ), economic base multiplier, manpower elasticity and projection. Result from analysis that GDRP agricultural sector will experience of increase till year 2012 while amount of total number of manpower at agricultural sector will experience of degradation.
