Abstract
Advances in science, technology and population growth are factors
that cause the demand for electrical energy to increase. PT. PLN
(Persero) continues to strive to meet all requests for electrical
energy with services of high quality and reliability. The level of
reliability can be seen the size of the value of SAIDI, SAIFI and
CAIDI. The System Avarage Interruption Duration Index (SAIDI)
is the average duration of interruptions, the System Avarage
Interruption Frequency Index (SAIFI) is the average frequency of
interruptions and the Customer Average Interruption Duration
(CAIDI) is the average duration index for normalizing when a
disturbance occurs each time. customer. From the calculation data
of SAIFI and SAIDI reliability values for 2019 - 2020 with an
overall capacity of around 9,870 MW, and the voltage level coming
out of the generator is 9.5 KV, which on average experiences
temporary disturbances. This disturbance occurs due to the need for
electrical energy from consumers, and is caused by the weather or
the environment, equipment, and also humans. If this continues to
happen this could result in permanent disturbances.
