Abstract

Abstract — COVID-19 (Corona Virus Disease 2019) is a virus that is contagious and causes infection in the human respiratory tract. Indonesia is currently experiencing an outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, in fact this outbreak has occurred throughout the world. An important step in educating about the dangers of COVID-19 starts from the method of transmission, the symptoms that will be experienced if infected with the COVID-19 virus, and most importantly educating children about how to prevent COVID-19 such as keeping a distance, washing hands. , wear a mask and stay away from crowds. For animation development, the author needs a system development method with an interactive approach through several phases using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method to build animations that contain educational content about COVID-19. Testing is carried out in 2 stages, the Alpha test stage, namely testing by developers and the Beta test stage, namely testing by volunteers who aim to get direct input from prospective users. The Interactive Animation Application for Symptoms and Prevention of COVID-19 is designed to be as attractive as possible to give a good impression to users. Abstrak — COVID-19 (Corona Virus Disease 2019) merupakan virus yang menular dan mengakibatkan infeksi pada saluran pernapasan manusia. Indonesia sedang mengalami wabah pandemi COVID-19, bahkan wabah ini terjadi diseluruh dunia. Langkah penting dalam mengedukasikan tentang bahaya dari COVID-19 mulai dari cara penularannya, gejala-gejala yang akan dialami jika tertular virus COVID-19, dan yang paling penting yaitu mengedukasikan kepada anak-anak tentang cara pencegahan COVID-19 seperti menjaga jarak, mencuci tangan, memakai masker dan menjauhi kerumunan. Untuk pengembangan animasi, penulis membutuhkan metode pembangunan sistem dengan pendekatan interaktif melalui beberapa fase menggunakan metode Multimedia Development Life Cicle (MDLC) untuk membangun animasi yang berisi konten edukasi tentang COVID-19. Pengujian dilakukan 2 tahap, tahap Alpha test yaitu pengujian oleh pengembang dan tahap Beta test yaitu pengujian oleh sukarelawan yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan masukan langsung dari calon pengguna. Aplikasi Animasi Interaktif Gejala-Gejala dan Pencegahan COVID-19 dirancang semenarik mungkin agar memberikan kesan baik bagi pengguna.
