Abstract

Abstract — OCR (Overcurrent Relay) is a protection device that can detect disturbances in the electric power system and provide information automatically to the power breaker to separate the protected electrical equipment as quickly as possible from disturbances, which is the main step in overcoming disturbances, especially in distribution channels. The working principle of the relay is to detect an overcurrent that exceeds a predetermined setting value, whether caused by a short circuit between phases or an overload, from the calculation of the maximum short circuit current of 6011.9 and the minimum short circuit current of 5026.3. What was done were the results of the OCR, or overcurrent relay settings, on the 150/20KV transformer at the Tangerang Main Substation with a current setting of 7A and a TMS of 0.24s and a comparison with the OCR setting data in the field. To optimize the work of the overcurrent relay, it is best to update the relay settings periodically to avoid failure of the protection relay to work if a disturbance occurs. Abstrak — OCR (Overcurrent Relay) merupakan salah satu alat proteksi yang dapat mendeteksi gangguan pada sistem penyediaan tenaga listrik dan secara otomatis memberikan informasi kepada pemutus arus untuk mengisolasi sarana listrik dengan mengamankan gangguan secepat mungkin, prosedur penting untuk mengamankan masalah terutama untuk saluran distribusi. Prinsip pengoperasian relai ini adalah mendeteksi arus berlebih dengan melampaui nilai yang sudah dipilih, yang dikarenakan dari hubungan pendek sesama fasa maupun beban lebih, atas perhitungan arus gangguan hubung singkat maximal sebesar 6011.9 dan arus hubung singkat minimal 5026.3 dan dari perhitungan yang dilakukan diperoleh hasil setting OCR atau Overcurrent Relay pada transformator 150/20KV Gardu Induk Tangerang dengan setting arus 7A dan TMS 0,24s dan perbandingan dengan data setting OCR di lapangan untuk Pengoptimalan kerja over current relay, sebaiknya di lakukan pembaruan settingan relai secara berkala untuk mencegah kegagalan bekerja relai proteksi apabila terjadi gangguan.
