Abstract

Every business in general will have a profit objective. The goal is influenced by several factors, one factor that affects is the smooth production. Smooth production itself is influenced by the presence or absence of raw materials to be processed in production. Raw materials needed should be fairly available in order to ensure smooth production. Quantity of inventory was not too big so that capital is embedded in the inventory and the costs incurred by the inventory is not too big, nor too small and because it can slow the production process. Failure inventory control of raw materials will lead to failure in obtaining profit. Therefore, it is important for any attempt to control the inventory in order to obtain optimal inventory levels.
