Abstract

WULLUR.M.2006 Management Influence Quality Of To Operational Performance AND COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE With Information Technology As Variable Of Moderated (Study At Manufacturing Business Is Having Certificate ISO 9000 In Indonesia). J. ARTHAVIDYA. TAHUN 7,NO 2. JULI 2006 The purpose of this study is to find out the implementation of quality management and the impact of information technology as moderating variable on operational performance and competitive advantage. The research is done in manufacturing companies with ISO 9000 certifications in Indonesia. Sample chosen base on purposive sample method in order to get samples according to the research purpose. As a result there are 40 manufacturing companies qualified. The research uses moderating regression analysis as statistical analyzing method. The result indicates that in manufacturing companies with ISO 9000 In Indonesia. Quality management has impact on operational performance but information technology weaken the relationship between quality management and operational performance. Another finding shows that quality management has no impact on competitive advantage, but information technology enhance the relationship between quality management and competitive advantage.
