Abstract
The Informal sector Raising can reserve worker of peoples of low-income. Generally the informal sector is the earn of living for the people in low-income sector that can not be organized and achieved by government policy. In fact, the informal sector along this time result in as income contributor for our nation (Cahyono, 1985 : 58. The area of business on Boulevard, located along abount 4,5 Kilometers, is a place strategic for the peoples to have pleasure together with their family, friend to enjoy the beautifull of Manado Beach, the sunset while they look Manado Tua Island. All of this results in creating working field in informal sector that can be shown along road side where there are raising theirplaces to sell foods, candies, cigarettes, etc. The small trades with their selling hut categorized as temporary since their activities happened only in any time, especially when there are products of fruits, corns, or special food like nasi kuning (Yellow rice) or ginger rise from bamboo, etc. The food sold are coming from not only Manado culinary cultivation, but also from Javaness, Gorontaloness, and other tribes culinary cultivation. The level of education is not preventing to enter this informal sector in particular, food sellers, nevertheless, theoretically the higher the potency of peoples to enhance their business sice they have high skill for the activities. But in fact, this case can not happen yet because it seem that it is important that they have will and effort to raise the income of family. Keywords: Food trader, Raising family income.
