Abstract

Farmer group in village such Talikuran pig farmer groups Metuari and Tontemboan with the main program is pig farming. The problem is pig manure dumped directly into the river , causing disruption of the surrounding environment. Based on these problems has been done IbM for group activities with the aim of empowering group members to boost the knowledge of the processing of animal waste to energy biogas and organic fertilizer. The application of science and technology on the recording and analysis of cash flow in managing the business are also introduced to the farmers group Metuari and Tontemboan. In addition the group also get information about the agricultural waste that can be processed into animal feed. The application of science and technology through IbM in farmer groups Metuari and Tontemboan have succeeded. The products are biogas reactor fixed dome type capacity 5m3 and as a source of fuel for the stove fire. Suggestions in this activity is necessary accompaniment universities to independent biased group, so that continuity can be achieved using the output and application of environmentally friendly pig farming can be done .
