Indonesia has been claimed as an agricultural country but ironically almost all basic food needs are imported. This needs to be investigated further why this phenomenon occurs. Government programs primarily aimed at revitalizing agriculture spur increased agricultural production with the use of synthetic chemicals in the short term in terms of quantity can be successful. However, if examined from the aspect of sustainable management, it needs to be rethought. The purpose of this study was to (1) train and facilitate the 30 members of farmer groups on agroecoreneurial knowledge and skill in rural area (rural agroecopreneurship); (2) Make the member of farmer groups as a rural entrepreneur champion focused on development of aromatic organic paddy rice treatment in Southeast Minahasa Regency. The final results are: (1) Through the help of farmer group champion, the development of rural agroecopreneurship to other farmers will be more widespread (2) The behavior and mindset of farmers begun to turn into agroecopreneurs i.e farmers who are sensitive and able to detect the market opportunities and through the available resources supported with creative and innovative ability, they are able to produce products of high economic value, healthy, ecofriendly, and sustainable productivity as well as community-based production. Indonesia selama ini diklaim sebagai negara agraris tapi ironisnya hampir semua kebutuhan makanan pokok diimport. Ini perlu diteliti lebih jauh mengapa fenomena ini terjadi. Program pemerintah terutama dengan revitalisasi pertanian yang ditujukan untuk memacu peningkatan produksi hasil pertanian dengan menggunakan bahan-bahan kimia sintetis dalam jangka pendek secara kuantitas dapat saja berhasil. Akan tetapi, jika dikaji dari aspek sustainable management, hal ini perlu dipikirkan kembali. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) melatih dan memfasilitasi 30 anggota kelompok tani tentang pengetahuan dan keterampilan kewirausahaan tani ramah lingkungan di pedesaan (rural agroecopreneurship). (2) Menjadikan anggota kelompok tani sebagai champion wirausaha tani pedesaan (rural entrepreneurs) khusus pengembangan padi sawah aromatik perlakuan organik di areal persawahan di Kabupaten Minahasa Tenggara. Hasil akhir penelitian adalah: (1) Melalui bantuan anggota kelompok tani yang dijadikan champion ini, pengembangan rural agroecopreneurship kepada petani lainnya akan semakin meluas (2) Perilaku maupun pola pikir petani mulai berubah menjadi agroecopreneurial yakni petani merangkap pengusaha yang jeli mendeteksi peluang pasar dan melalui sumberdaya yang ada pada mereka didukung dengan kemampuan kreatif dan inovatif mampu menghasilkan produk bernilai ekonomis tinggi, sehat, ramah lingkungan, produktivitas yang sustainable serta produksi berbasis komunitas.
