Abstract
Economic growth leading to greater welfare of sociaty is a goal to be achieved, especially in the Indonesia economy, iincluding North Sulawesi Province. Accordingly, this study aims at observing the influence of routine expenditure and interest rate on the economic growth. The results of the study concluded, firstly, that interest rate does not have a significant influence on the private investment, while routine expenditures and development expenditure have a singnificant, positive influence on the private investment. Secondly, the interst rates have a significant influence in the opposite direction on the economic growth, while routine expenditure, development expenditure, and privat investment have a significant positive influence on the economic growth.
