Abstract

Socio-economic condition of fishermen community in Kinabuhutan village,mWest Likupang district of North Minahasa regency, North Sulawesi This study was aimed at studying the state of socio-economic conditions of fishermen in the village of West Likupang Kinabuhutan district of North Minahasa regency. This research is a descriptive study based on survey method with samples were taken by a simple random sampling method. Subsequent data is processed and analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that the fishermen use soma pajeko gear, and beach seine fishing and still done the traditional with the problems of capital is still lacking. Social organization and economic benefit in improving the livelihoods and quality of life in the village Kinabuhutan. The low level of family welfare because of the low level of income from family members.
