Abstract

Abstract This study aims to see the potential of fisheries, especially the cultivation of fish in floating net and its development in the Village District Tandengan Eris. Basic research is a case study is used, while the methods used in the study is descriptive with data retrieval using a method of population survey taken by the fish farmer have floating net aquculture WHO effort by interviewing and observation. The data collected consists of primary data and secondary data, and then analyzed qualitatively with a simple mathematical calculations. The results showed that fish farmers education level is relatively good (60% passed higher school), while the experience in fish farming is above 10 years. The unit of floating net and its production of fish have increased from year to year. Certain problems in In developing floating net include weather, water condition, feed prices, and market demand. Hoverver, the development of fish fanning in floating net are created employ fields. For more development, the related institutions should carry out a counseling and training to increase the fish farmer skill, and indispensable to form a cooperation for fish farmer groups in the village by thinking of considerable number of fish farmers.
