Abstract
Abstract - The selection of Concentration of Study Interest in Civil Engineering study program of Sam Ratulangi Manado University becomes important to support the topic of final assignment research taken by students. Therefore, in helping the study program determine the appropriate interests of its students, this research uses the course value of each student as a criterion to determine study interests. The method used is the Profile Matching method because the Profile Matching method gives an ideal competency value that must be met by each student's course. In order to facilitate decision making, this method is applied to a web-based system. Profile Matching is applied using the PHP programming language to build the calculation process, in addition to the design of the system assisted by codeigniter framework 3 to facilitate development, as well as for the continued development of the use of this framework is considered to be able to facilitate collaboration of the creator of the system. Keywords — Study Interests, Decision Support System, Profile Matching , PHP, Codeigniter Abstrak – Pemilihan Konsentrasi Minat Studi pada Program studi Teknik Sipil Universitas Sam Ratulangi Manado menjadi hal penting untuk menunjang topik penelitian tugas akhir yang diambil oleh mahasiswa. Untuk itu, dalam membantu program studi menentukan minat yang sesuai dengan mahasiswanya maka penelitian ini menggunakan nilai mata kuliah dari setiap mahasiswa sebagai kriteria untuk menentukan minat studi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Profile Matching hal ini dikarenakan metode Profile Matching memberi nilai kompetensi ideal yang harus dipenuhi oleh mata kuliah setiap mahasiswa. Demi mempermudah pengambilan keputusan maka metode ini diterapkan kedalam sebuah sistem yang berbasis web. Profile Matching diterapkan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP untuk membangun prosesnya perhitungannya, selain itu perancangan sistem dibantu framework codeigniter 3 untuk memudahkan pengembangan, serta untuk pengembangan lanjutan penggunaan framework ini dinilai akan dapat memudahkan kolaborasi pembuatan sistem. Dalam penerapannya di program studi teknik sipil penggunaan nilai mata kuliah sebagai aspek penentuan minat dianggap kurang karena ada minat yang memiliki sedikit mata kuliah wajib untuk mendukung minat tersebut sehingga akan selalu menghasilkan rekomendasi paling terakhir Kata kunci: Minat studi, Sistem Pendukung Keputusan, Profile Matching , PHP, Codeigniter.
