Abstract
Abstract — Before getting to know Smartphones, cellphones could first be used to make calls or send short messages, but over time cellphones have now developed and have operating systems like computers. And with the existence of this operating system that makes mobile phones have progress on par with computers, these advances can be utilized in various parts. As is the case in the spiritual field at the GMIM Kristus Manado Congregation, the GMIM Kristus Manado Congregation already has an Android-based information system application, but the GMIM Kristus Congregation information system application needs to be developed in accordance with the needs of the Church in fulfilling the spiritual and informational aspects of the church. The development of this application uses the Waterfall method with stages of needs analysis, design stage, implementation stage, testing stage, and maintenance stage. This application is built using Android Studio with the Java programming language, and uses the Firebase database as a Web service..

Abstrak — Sebelum mengenal Smartphone, ponsel dahulu hanya bisa digunakan untuk melakukan panggilan ataupun mengirim pesan singkat, namun seiring berjalannya waktu ponsel kini sudah berkembang dan memiliki sistem operasi seperti komputer. Dan dengan adanya sistem operasi ini membuat ponsel memiliki kemajuan yang setara dengan komputer, kemajuan tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan di berbagai bagian. Seperti halnya pada bidang kerohanian pada Gereja GMIM Kristus Manado, gereja GMIM Kristus Manado sudah mempunyai aplikasi sistem informasi berbasis android, namun aplikasi sistem informasi Gereja GMIM Kristus perlu dikembangkan guna, sesuai dengan kebutuhan dari pihak Gereja dalam memenuhi aspek kerohanian dan aspek informasi dalam gereja. Pengembangan aplikasi ini menggunakan metode Waterfall dengan tahapan analisa kebutuhan, tahap desain, tahap implementasi, tahap pengujian, dan tahap pemeliharaan. Aplikasi ini dibangun dengan menggunakan Android Studio dengan bahasa pemograman Java, dan menggunakan database Firebase sebagai Web service.
